OFFLINE
Right now, checking emails and doin' online "duties" in a computer shop (in a mall). And then do the groceries afterwards. Picked up my niece's report card in her school, had my nails done before goin' here and visited a bank to open an EON account which didn't materialize coz I forgot to bring my passport (dang! talk about memory gap!!).
And hmmmm.... I just noticed that most of my layouts and images are soooooooooooo dark!!!!!! Is it just this monitor or what??? It looked fine in mine and in my SIL's laptop (who came back to SG last Sunday)..... is that how you see them as well??? Let me know, will appreciate it sooo much! And in fact, all comments (bearable, decent and not violent) are welcome :)
Thanks thanks thanks!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm out :)

SNR Spring Fling Blog-o-log 09
I am so excited to share with you these simple projects today. I hope you enjoy reading through! :)
Hybrid birthday invite with envelope:
Use editing software to make your birthday invite just like any digi layout. I always edit my designs in 300dpi. For this invite, I used Whoo's ready for spring digi kit by Tracy Reed and Meghan Mullens of Sweet Shoppe Designs.
(invite image above is the printed version)
- For the envelope, I used an 8.5x11 specialty paper that I just bought from the local bookstore. You can use any type of paper you prefer (handmade, patterned paper, mulberry, etc). Just follow the instructions written on the images.

I used a decorative scissors to cut the top portion of the envelope.

Attach a small tag by tying it with a crochet thread under the flower (do this just before you adhere the flower)

Hybrid "Happy birthday" card:
- Edit your elements into size (or color if you want). I placed mine in a 4x6 workspace (I always prefer to work on a transparent background with all the grids). Just resize the element you want to print out according to your preference or card design requirement.
- For my card, I resized the bird (approximately) 2inx2in, the cardboard label 2x0.5 inches and the glittered cloud 3inx2in.

- Once printed out, cut and set aside. You can left a little amount of white to make it look like a sticker.
- On a white cardstock (4inx5in), adhere a 4inx4in patterned paper to the lower part (I made a scalloped border on mine to add effect).
- Adhere ribbon on top of the patterned paper.
- Write "you are so" and "happy birthday" on strips of paper. Adhere as shown and use rubon for the "SWEET" sentiment in between the two strips.
- Place the cutout bird on the right side and embellish the tail with a small flower and bling.
- Adhere the cutout cardboard label on top of the patterned paper..
- Cut approximately 0.5in from the top of the card, following the curve of the cardboard label make a shaped edge as seen here.
- Adhere the cutout glittered cloud on the left side and doodle small dots around the edges.
- You card is finished!And that's it! :)
I hope you liked these simple tutorials! :) Thanks for visiting my blog!

Quite busy....
HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY CHESKA!!!! :)
I made her souvenirs and lootbags... napasubo ata ako sa lootbags but I got through it with the help of my SIL (Cheska's mommy). Well, you be the judge how it looks like when I post pics soon, lol! I sampled her several lootbag ideas, good thing we bought a LOT of those white sturdy cartolina-like papers, lol! I had to make a dozen lootbags ( about 8.5x11 big) to store the assortment of candies, coloring books, crayons, toys...etc... And her souvenirs, are decorative hanging pic frames. I made the girls' frames with Pink Paislee stuff (mostly) and the boys' with scraps from my Dixie Pieces Feb kit, Gears and Gadgets.
Will post some pics soon! :)
Oh.... and I still have layouts to finish before the week ends! ARgggh!!!!!!!!
And before I forget... there's an online crop going on right now at ONE SINGLE SEED..... you check out the forum, there are TONS of challenges and games and prizes to be won! Check out the site!

Amazing Race 2009
it's Mystical Scrapbooks' Amazing Race 2009! :)
First destination: New York
Theme: Girlfriends having fun, pink and an optional Sex and the City quote
My take:
Divas indeed
(well, I couldn't think of anything other than the title I used, lol! I was so in a hurry and that's the first thing that entered my brain :D While I was doing this layout, I remembered how all the Scrappin Moms Idols participants worked on each and every layout with sweat and blood --> exag i know but NOT! lol!-- Or maybe I should have dropped the "s" and titled it DIVA instead??? I was thinking of COOKIE AGUILAR, the second SMI winner, when I was editing the pics. Just look at her! She's all smiles and had this {:D} happy face all throughout the competition. And so appropriate for this week's theme of girlfriends havin' fun... we sure had fun during this event. You can read the whole story of this event HERE.)
Materials: DCWV cs, Heidi Swapp pps and journaling spot, Prima crystal swirls and flowers, Provocraft pp (black flower cutout with glitter), AC Thickers, Sakura pen. Other - flower bling
And... what's an Amazing Race without the voting part?? Yep, you can vote for my layout...next round :D Voting time for round 1's finished already. But keep an eye on this thread HERE for the announcement of gallery viewing and voting period. You have to be a registered member though in Mystical Scrapbooks with a minimum of 20 posts to be eligible to vote :D Well, for the love of friendship.... go on and register yourselves, lol!! hehehe
Thanks HUGE in advance! :)
